ANZAC Day Dawn service at Currumbin will be attended by 80 students and teachers from Mossman State High School this year as part of their Cert II in Tourism – Gold Coast Experience with CTIA
This is an excellent opportunity for students to be involved in a major Australian Event. Being the 2014-2018 100 years of ANZAC anniversary with attendance numbers expected to exceed 35,000. Currumbin’s iconic Elephant Rock will again be draped in poppies hand-made by Gold Coast high school students. The dawn service, hosted by Currumbin RSL will once again be televised worldwide
Students undertaking this program participate in a 5 day camp providing an interactive environment, as training is taking out of the classroom and students are immersed in the local Gold Coast Tourism industry providing exposure to the diversity of employment and the required employability skills in action.
