I completed the Diploma of Hospitality (Management) with the Career Training Institute in 2002. The intensive theory and practical training has given me the knowledge and experience I needed to achieve my career dreams.

During and after the completion of the Diploma of Hospitality (Management) I worked for various International Hotels and have now fulfilled my goal to be a Flight Attendant for Emirates Airlines based Dubai in the United Emirates.

I would recommend this excellent program to any prospective student wanting to make the exciting world of Hospitality and Tourism their career.

Shelley Zerner – Flight Attendant
Emirates Airlines – Dubai

It’s hard to get your “Foot in the door” in the hospitality industry. CTIA gave me access to a 5 star hotel environment which allowed me to gain the skills & knowledge needed to be a success.

Since completing the course I have held positions as Guest Service Agent, Front Office Trainer, Reservations Sales Agent and now Event Co-ordinator.

I would thoroughly recommend the course, it has a great learning environment, educational content and has fantastic staff.

 Feedback on our courses:

It’s been very remiss of me not to be in touch before this.  Our students had an absolutely fabulous time on the camp and have not stopped raving about their experiences since.  Thank you so much for inviting us to be involved and for providing this wonderful opportunity for them.  It has really opened their eyes and, as is obvious from their feedback, encouraged some to think more about their future careers.  A win/win!

Many, many thanks,

*Teacher* – This course has provided opportunities for our college and students that they will value for the rest of their lives. The skills, knowledge and training that these students have received from this course has had a significant impact on their personal journey. Not only is this an opportunity for training in the Tourism industry, but also to allow students to build resilience and confidence outside their comfort zones. Thank you and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

I have gained a lot of experience from participating in a wide range of activities which I may have not thought about trying. It has given me more insight into what types of tourism activities that could be offered in my community. It has given me more tourism ideas to talk about in my teaching of business. The facilities are good at the centre with a wide range of activities students can participate in.

This experience has been an amazing & truly interesting experience that I will take into full consideration. It’s also given me a better understanding of aboriginal culture & how connected everything is. (land, sea, air). Thank you for this opportunity & thank you for everything.

It was really good in my opinion. I thought it was really educational. I can benefit a lot from this for my future. I’ve learnt how to do other things I’ve never thought were possible. I really enjoyed it and would honestly do it again. Best experience.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and have taken a lot out of it. I learnt more of indigenous history and aboriginal culture as well as flora and fauna. I thank everyone for think experience and should be longer.
